Beach Lolita

Posted by Unknown at 23:26

Well I have already written a blog post on wearing Lolita in the summertime...but what about the beach? Obviously Lolita Fashion is just not practical for the beach, you can't have your pretty petticoats and your nice shoes ruined with sand and sea water. Yet you don't want to wear plain boring clothes just to go to the beach. Although you can still wear cute clothes, and Lolita look-a-like outfits to the beach, just not actual Lolita. Ditch the petticoat, and go for something practical.

Shoes

Instead of your standard Lolita shoes, we want shoes that you can prance around the beach in. Either wear a cheaper pair of Lolita sandals, or buy yourself a cute pair of thongs.

Comfortable Easy to Take Off Clothes

The whole point of going to the beach is to go in the water right? Well if you have a dress with a million ties, you are going to get very annoyed trying to get it undone every time you want to get in the water. Wear something you can easily take off and put away neatly in your bag, so when you feel like having a swim you can just go for it.

Cute Swimwear

Of course to go swimming you want Lolita appropriate swimwear. You can get a cute frilly bikini, an adorable one piece, something amazingly retro...or just a Lolita bikini...yes brands have released Lolita swimwear.

Stay Sun Safe

If you plan to stay in the sun all day, it might be a good idea to bring a cute parasol and a hat with you. Bring plenty of drinks and stay hydrated. Don't forget the sun screen...how embarrassing will you look if you come out looking like a tomato the next day ^^'

Here are some beach outfit ideas I have come up with-
